Dear Dharma Friends,
We are now in an active phase that is particularly important for the project’s further development. The roof has now been fully completed. The next steps are the installation of the lightning protection system and the solar panels. At the same time, we have already begun the interior work on the upper floor. This floor will include living quarters for Rinpoche, a room for an attendant, a guest room for visiting lamas, and an office for the Jeta Garden team.
Over the past two years, we have made significant progress. Our priority now is to make the best possible use of the summer months and advance the work substantially before winter.
This construction phase will bring the building an important step closer to becoming fully operational. It will provide permanent protection for the building, establish the essential technical infrastructure, and prepare the upper floor for living and working.
Many of the systems currently being installed are not intended only for the rooms under construction at this stage. The wastewater, electrical, energy supply, and controlled ventilation systems with heat recovery are being planned and installed for the entire building. Parts of the energy infrastructure are also being prepared so that the planned second building can be connected in the future.
These works therefore represent more than the completion of individual rooms. They are a long-term investment in the overall development of Jeta Garden.
At present, however, we still lack the financial resources required to continue this important construction phase throughout the summer as planned. For this reason, we have launched a fundraising campaign and are asking for your support.
Approximately 25 % of the target amount has already been raised. The campaign will continue until the end of September 2026. During the coming weeks, we hope to fund as many of the remaining construction units as possible so that the work already underway can continue without major interruption.
You can support specific construction elements or particular areas of the building. Contributions can be made towards, for example:
– 1m2 of masonry
– 1m2 of underfloor heating
– 1m2 of tiles
– one solar panel
– the ventilation system
– individual rooms for Rinpoché, visiting lamas, and the Jeta Garden team
Alternatively, you can support general construction units without assigning your donation to a specific room or part of the building. Every contribution, regardless of its size, helps us continue the work.

When making a bank transfer, please include “Donation” and the name of the selected construction unit or area in the payment reference. When no specific allocation is required, please use “Donation – General Construction.”
